Echo Ambulance LLC
About EchoCare
Who we are
Echo Ambulance LLC is a Houston-based healthcare technology company that builds EchoCare, a multi-tenant emergency medical services (EMS) dispatch and management platform. Our software is used by licensed ambulance services to coordinate dispatches, manage crews and shifts, generate electronic patient care reports (ePCR), and run revenue cycle workflows.
EchoCare is purpose-built for the operational reality of an ambulance service — from a dispatcher assigning a call to a crew member completing a NEMSIS-compliant patient care report. We integrate with public-safety, healthcare, and billing systems used across the EMS industry in the United States.
Who we serve
- Ambulance services and EMS agencies operating in the United States
- Receiving facilities (hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, dialysis centers) coordinating non-emergency transport
- Dispatchers, EMTs, paramedics, and revenue-cycle staff at our customer organizations
Access to the EchoCare platform is provisioned by the customer organization for their authorized personnel. End users (members of the public) do not sign up directly.
What the platform does
- Dispatch creation, assignment, and real-time tracking of EMS transports
- Shift and crew management for ambulance crews
- NEMSIS-compliant electronic patient care reporting (ePCR)
- Billing and revenue cycle workflows, including insurance eligibility and claims
- Operational notifications to crews via mobile push and SMS
- Two-factor authentication via email or SMS for platform users
Compliance and data handling
Echo Ambulance LLC operates as a HIPAA Business Associate for the covered entities we serve. We execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each customer, store data in U.S.-based AWS infrastructure, and apply administrative, physical, and technical safeguards consistent with HIPAA requirements.
See our Privacy Policy for a complete description of what we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. See our Terms of Service for the full agreement governing use of the platform.
SMS and communications
EchoCare sends transactional SMS messages to authenticated platform users who have opted in: two-factor authentication codes during sign-in, and operational dispatch notifications to crew members on active shifts. Both programs require explicit, affirmative user consent before any SMS is sent.
Full details — including step-by-step opt-in flow, opt-out instructions, message frequency, and how to remove a phone number — are documented at /sms-terms. Mobile phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
